Outstanding Women of Clinton County Scholarship Application 2021
The Outstanding Women of Clinton County Committee, along with numerous scholarship supporters, is pleased to offer outstanding young women of Clinton County the opportunity to seek their academic goals in college or in other post secondary education. The scholarship is administered by the Outstanding Women of Clinton County Committee and the Clinton County Foundation.
Criteria for application:
* Graduating senior girl from Blanchester, East Clinton, Clinton Massie or Wilmington High School. Home-schooled students from these county school districts are also eligible. Wilmington Christian Academy students will be considered and put in with their Home School District.
* Plans to attend a community college or technical school, four-year college or university.
* Has a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average or the 75 percentile on an ACT or SAT standardized test .
* Demonstrated academic and community service accomplishments.
Funds awarded through the scholarship fund may be used for tuition, room and board, books and other supplies. The scholarship is $1500 and is non-renewable and will be paid directly to your institution of higher learning.
The online application must be completed by the student applying for the scholarship by December 10, 2020. Scholarship recipients will be notified in early February 2021. Due to concerns and unknowns with COVID-19, the annual Outstanding Women of Clinton County banquet has been cancelled for 2021. A scholarship reception is anticipated in the Spring, provided the public health standards allow gatherings.
